My Mother Turns Gold

My mother turns gold
She got more precious as the year comes.
Multitudes of challenges, problems, and success have been the constant highlights of her life.
It would be an understatement if I would say she's the strongest woman I know,
if there's something that beyond being strong she's that perfect example.

I have caused many problems, disappointments and heartaches, but she remained as my ever supportive and loving mother. I don't know what to do with my life without her.
I love her so much, that the idea of having her makes me thank God everyday for giving me a mother like her (even though I'm not very religious now).

I hope she'll believe me every time I say she don't look old because it is the truth.
I hope she'll believe me every time I say I LOVE YOU because I even love you more than it's meaning.

I hope she'll believe me sometimes if I would say she should stop worrying things because she shouldn't shoulder all the worries for I am here.
I hope she'll believe me sometimes if I would say she should stop working (especially household chores) because it wouldn't do good for her health and she can hire someone to do that for her.

Ma, you just don't know how you influence me as I face my life.
You've been my constant inspiration to do good at all times.
I hope I will not fail you in the future.

I love you so much and
Thank you...

-Your Daughter
